Copy field from one table to another table

Hello,
I am working with Access 2003. I have a table SpotData with a field names Place and I want it to be copied to a table named Spot in a field named Place. It should be automatically done when saving the data of the form SpotData linked to the SpotData table. How can I do this. I have very few knowledge on Access or VB, so please give me very simple explanations.
