Copy PST OST PAB files-one PC to another

Hi Folks,
I am on Outlook 2000/Office 2000 and
wondering what is the best way to move PST,
OST, PAB files from one PC to another (user
getting new PC) should I EXPORT the files
from the old PC and then IMPORT the files to
the new PC or is it just as simple as copying
them from where they live presently on the
old system and copying them to the same
area/folder on the new PC? Thank you
