Hey all,
My client has Outlook 2007 and has recently corrupted their .PST file. Steps I have taken to attempt repair:
1) Ran Scandisk on the PC, everything normal.
2) Ran the Outlook repair tool “Scanpst.exe”. It cannot complete, just gives general errors related to Outlook.
3) From Start – > Run I tried “outlook.exe /resetnavpane” I thought I had it with this one. It finally errored out at the last minute. >= (
4) Uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook.
5) Ran Easy Recovery Pro Outlook Repair Utility (Not happy I spent money on something that doesn’t deliver as promised) and it also errors out giving me a “critical” error.
I’m at my wit’s end on this one. Can anyone recommend a good Open Source or Freeware solution to correcting this corrupted PST file? Any help is appreciated.
