Data Information Editor

I’m looking for a program that will allow me to edit the extra information in a data file like an editor does on the mp3s. I have found programs that will do it but none of them will allow me to edit multiple files at once. I’m looking for one that will allow me to configure it to get the extra information from the file name according to how I delimit it.
ie. File name – filers name.zip would be put into the properties summary the way i configure it.
