Data Posting to Access Database

How do I go about posting data from my html file to my existing Access 2000 database. When I post at the moment, I get the confirmation page but no data is added to the database. I have checked that all fields are selected as per Microsofts’ answerson no posting but still no luck. Maybe somebody can assist me.
