Defaul domain group policy for logon script not working

by bhaveshm . Updated 19 years, 5 months ago

I have added logon script to default domain policy so that I can enable the remote admin of my workstations, I have a .bat file in logon script with “c:> netsh firewall set service REMOTEADMIN enable”

I have to do this so that I can inventory all my pc using “spiceworks” free program, this program is running good for win2K PC but not for XP which has builtin firewall.

I have put the .bat file to C:\WINNT\SYSVOL\sysvol\TORONTO\scripts location and that .bat file is also at C:\WINNT\SYSVOL\sysvol\TORONTO\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}\USER\Scripts\Logon

Please help.
