device con. diabled/lost to NT4 server

After my Win2k clients logon to the NT4 server they get their Logon scripts and run fine. But from time to time when a client accesses the internet or not, the device connections are lost by the client. They get that nice big red X. Now to me its no big deal because I know to double click on the device again and it reconnects. But the problem comes for the users using a mapped drive for a 16bit app. No connection no app running…its annoying from their point of view. I could use some relieve…who has an Idea?
