I have just received my pc back from having the motherboard replaced, due to it having faulty onboard sound. This appears to have created a variety of problems (that apparently escaped the 8 hours of QA testing done)
– it is extremely slow to boot (amazingly slow)
– a program that worked prior to the mb being replaced now crashes after it has been open for a minute or two, pc then needs to be rebooted, this also causes Msgsrv32 to not respond as well as DDHelpWndClass and occasionally Explorer
– appears to freeze when online and a website is making sound, unfreezes after a minute
– when I insert an audio cd it says can’t find program.exe, needed for opening AudioCD files
Everything, bar the sound, was working fine prior to the mbbeing replaced.
Anyone have any ideas or know of a good diagnostic tool that might help?
