DLLHOST.EXE Consuming the CPU

I have a java COM based web application that is running on Win2k and IIS 5.0. Through light testing we are able to crash the server. All we know is that DLLHOST.EXE is consuming the CPU and does no relinquish it. Once we break the server, DLLHOSTwill host 99% of the CPU cycles until we either kill the process or reboot the server.
