Hi guys, I hope that I can get some help with this.

The PC just shut off one night, when you would try to power it on the hard drive light would just blink and the the floppy disk drive would make noises like it would want to start up. After reading forums and testing out the PC I figured that the power supply must have shot the system board although I’m not 100 percent sure about that because the PSU still gets power but it seems like the mb won’t distribute the power because the hard drive doesn’t power on or any of the other drives, but the CPU fan turns. I went ahead and bought a Biostar P4M80 board because it was recommended to me since it had the same chipset as the Imperial GV board that was in there. When I connect everything on the biostar board the board will not power up. When I try the original board it does power up allthough with the original power but at least there is power, but not on the Biostar board. I would hate to think that the biostar board is bad since it’s a new one right out of the box. I’m thinking that there is something with the jumpers I need to set. I have also tried different PSU that I know work with no change. Has anyone had any experience upgrading this machine with this board and how to do it? All help will be appreciated.
