Email Port Blocked.

We are having this problem with only on section of our network which unfortunately is a workgroup. This section of the network goes from our firewall to a fiber converter to a netgear 16 port unmanaged switch to another fiber conver to linksys 24 port unmanaged switch and from there to part of the computers that are having this problem and the other set of computers are off of another switch from that switch.

My problem is that when you click the send receive button in outlook, incredimail, or thunderbird we have to change the ports from 110 for pop3 and 80 for the smtp to the ssl ports of 995 for pop3 and 25 for smtp.

reformating a computer will not effect the problem, nor running worm removal tools or antivirus software and anti spyware either.

If anyone has any suggestions on this puzzle please let me know.

Thank you for your help!
