Emailing from within VB app

by robaaaaaa2 . Updated 19 years, 3 months ago

I have an application written in VB6 and there are several instances where I have the program automatgically emailing people, e.g. notification that an event has occured.

But – whenever the module runs the OS pops up 2 windows, one after the other, notifying the user that an applicaiton is attempting to send an email and requesting [OK] or [Cancel]

IS there any way I can switch this ‘security’ feature off? or bypass it?

The app uses a mapisession:

MAPISession1.SignOn
MAPIMessages1.SessionID = MAPISession1.SessionID
MAPIMessages1.Compose
MAPIMessages1.RecipDisplayName = sEmail
MAPIMessages1.MsgSubject = “Requisition Authorised”
MAPIMessages1.MsgNoteText = sNotify
MAPIMessages1.ResolveName
MAPIMessages1.Send
MAPISession1.SignOff
