Error 1402 Can’t open key \Classes\.tsk

I receive the following error when trying to install McAfee 6.0:
Error 1402. Could not open key:
Software\Classes\.tsk

I have looked in the registry for this file but it is not there. Does anyone know what the key is suppose to have in it forthe values & data if the registry is upddated manually?
Or do you know of a good fix to get this file on the registry to complete installation?
