Error withOutlook XP and moving a pst file

I just bought a new laptop with windows vista. I installed office xp and transferred by pst file to that machine from a machine running windows xp home and office xp. I get an error now opening outlook xp. Other office apps open and outlook opened without an error prior to moving the pst file. I didn’t save the original pst file and when I uninstall and reinstall office xp a new blank one is not created.

My preference is to get my pst file working. If not how to I create a blank one to use and just enter my settings
