Excel 2003 Row Height & wrapped text

I have a couple of spreadsheets created years ago in earlier versions of Excel (I’m now using 2003) that have given me problems with row height.

When the row self adjusts to fit the wrapped text often the height cuts part of the text off (part of a row of text or sometimes rteducing it to one row only.

So I adjust it manually. BUT – if I sort the columns the row heights get screwed up again!

I have been told about merged cells but that doesn’t seem to be the problem (the merged cells weren’t part of the sort, although they were rows repeated at the top of each page) as I unmerged the one row, resorted and the same thing happened.

Any clues out there??
