I have just joined this forum after viewing a post on lost excel work sheets. It?s nice to be able to post problems as i am at the top of the IT ladder in my company but I still have a lot to learn.
Anyway I will cut the rubbish one of my users has lost worksheets in a vital document it was backed up 2 weeks ago but it has been altered frequently. I’ve tried maximising my resolution and entering full screen mode, No Luck. I have also tried altering the shortcut to open as maximised as was discussed in a previous thread on this problem. The file size is 1.63MB so i know the sheets are there somewhere, but for the life of me i cannot find them. I opened the .xls file in notepad and information came up but clearly in the wrong format so lots of strange characters and squares appeared between text. Thanks for your help I have run out of steam hopefully someone else will have some more.
