Excel with in a thread

Hi I need to load an excel application which internally loads an excel addin called crystal ball.

When i am creating a new excel using the following code,

Dim xl As Excel.Application = Nothing
xl = New Excel.Application
xl.Visible = False
xl.DisplayAlerts = False

when line no 2 is executing it opens the excel and loads the crystal ball addin which takes time say 20 to 30 seconds, till this time my next like of code should not be executed.

i.e my addin should be loaded fully to excel object then only the xl.visible = false code should be executed.

any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
