Exchange 2000 Web Access

I recently installed an Exchange 2000 server. I’ve been attempted to get the Outlook Web Access (OWA) working so that employees can check their messages from home. Currently, I can log in remotely and send messages through OWA, but nothing is displayed in my Inbox (even though there are messages present). I’ve on Microsoft’s knowledge base, buy I haven’t found anything concerning this particular problem. Ideas??
