We have a few shared resources we use in the office. Everyone has access to schedule these resources but lately what’s been happening with one projector and meeting room is when someone reserves it (AKA schedules it), it sends an email out to everyone that has access to it (AKA the entire company).
It doesn’t happen all the time and it appears it may be because some of my users are scheduling the resource as an actual recipient (When I had a user schedule it as a resource it didn’t send the meeting to everyone), but I have users that swear they schedule resources like I have mapped out on our company Wiki and it still sends a meeting request out to everyone on the employee directory.
It doesn’t happen with any other resource but one of our projectors and one of our board rooms.
What am I missing?
I thought I had this issue resolved 3 times. This last time it appears it hapens when the resource is sceduled as a recipient, which despite training and spelling out how to do it properly is going to happen anyways becaue users generally don’t listen, so I need to make sure regardless of how they schedule the resource a global meeting request doesn’t go out to our employees.
Help please.
