Exchange Postmaster query

We are running Exchange 5.5 SP3 and I’ve been asked if it is possible to change the message that a user sees when thier email bounces to something a little more friendly that the standard failed mail message.

I can’t see anyway to do this with 5.5, Is it possible or is there a registry change or add-on that allows us to do this.

Is it something that can be don in Exchange 2000?
