ExSvr 2k to 5.5

Domain 1: Domain 2:

Win2k Server Win NT Svr
Exchng 2000 Exchng 5.5

Currently ExSvr 2k in Domain 1 is receiving our internet e-mail. ExSvr 5.5 is handling our internal e-mail with no connection to the internet. Basically we want to make Domain 1 as the DMZ and keep the back domain a seperate domain. How do I allow the users behind the DMZ access the mail server on the DMZ?
