FAT destroyed: I lost everything!

Hello,

I tried to copy my hard disk to another one using GHOST 5.1 but when the process reached 5% then something terrible happened! The File Allocation Table (FAT) of my SOURCE HARD DISK was destroyed and I lost everything…
What might have caused such a problem? Any ideas?
