Finding multicast source

I am trying to find the source IP addresses of all multicast traffic by performing “show ip mroute summary”. PIM sparse mode is in place. However, I am not sure whether this is accurate as I am getting many different sources for a single group (source,group) Is the source within the bracket a true refection of the real multicast originating device?
