I’ve downloaded and installed on five computers so far, and I am impressed.
It’s soooo much faster than before, even compared to 3.6 with the FasterFox add-in, It simply embarrasses IE 8 on my computers.
I have a relatively slow Dell Mini9 Netbook that would tend to stutter and spit on YouTube videos….not anymore. The laptop can now totally keep up with streaming video.
While it still has to buffer HD video, for a 1GHZ machine running on a WLAN connection to be able to process the YouTube video player content and not have to buffer is nothing short of awesome.
In a word: brilliant. The Flash performance is much much faster, and so is Java. I have not played with the new Panorama interface.
By putting the tabs up higher, it gives more web-page on my little netbook screen.
The Firefox add-ons that I use, such as NoScript, Web Of Trust, AdBlock Plus and Greasemonkey just upgraded automatically and work perfectly on the new version.
