fireworks 8 software compatibility

Is fireworks cs3 compatible with dreamweaver 8? I’ve ordered fireworks 8 from an online merchant and has been on backorder for several weeks. Don’t know whether I should cancel the order and order fireworks cs3 instead. Please advise.
