Fishing for Thumbs UP

Is has occurred to me that myself and a number of other TR members spend a considerable amount of time each week trying to assist posters on this site with various IT related issues. Personally I get a significant amount of knowledge just by reading the responses that others give.
Wouldn’t it be great if everyone who received an answer to their question was prompted in some way to give a thumbs up? I mean as it is right now there is no prompt that i can see and many of the answers give (mine included) go largely unrecognised, I worked out that I get about 8% thumbs up for the answers I give, fair enough I’m not looking for a place in the hall of fame but it would be nice to be recognised for our help a bit more, after all we are giving of our knowledge for free!
