What an effect a pronunciation can have.

“NewCASTLE”.

Grocery shopping Sunday at a warehouse store. Bumped the cart into a stack of boxes. “NewCASTLE”, they screamed. One box was big (24 bottles). But, my cart was bigger.

I am not an inveterate drinker of, “Imported From England, The One and Only, NewCASTLE Brown Ale,” but someone has to do it.
