Ghost 11.5 ‘required system component not installed’ HELP

by tlittle88 . Updated 16 years, 11 months ago

Hey there.
I have a few old computers around here which are using Intel D815EFV boards with an INTEL PRO 100 NIC.

I have been trying to ghost the machine with Symantec Ghost Solution Suite 2.5. And have been having allot of problems.

When I try to boot from Floppy I get a message saying ‘required system component not installed’ and it will not load the ghost application. I Also get a ‘General Protection Fault eip=214; flags 3213’.
I have looked this up and couldn’t mind much on it.

So I thought I would try by CD so I tried and it just gets to a prompt a blinks for about 4 hours and doesn’t do anything.

It doesn’t support booting from a USB stick so I am running out of options.

Can anyone help with this problem?
