GHOST 2003 to copy 98se files to XP?

My question is if I want to copy files like K-lite, music files, and other personal files from a system using win 98se to another that has win XP, will the files on my XP be wiped out? I want to keep the XP stuff but bring over the 98se files onto it. Basically, I just do not want to lose the music and the setup of certain things. Is that possible to do? Thanks in advance for helping me with this.
