I’m using Symantec Ghost Corp Edition v7.5, and trying to set up a network boot disk for a new build. The NIC is built into the Intel D865GBFL motherboard, and it uses the Pro/100 chipset. The boot disk builder has a template for the Pro/100, but it doesn’t detect the NIC (probably an old driver). So, I’ve tried updating it with the new e100b NDIS2 driver, with no luck. I’ve tried creating a new template with whatever DOS drivers are available from Intel’s site (they are bundled with the Win9x drivers), using both the packet driver and NDIS2 driver, with no luck. I’ve gotten the boot disk to detect that there is a NIC there, but then when it tries to run the ghost executable, it just locks up. I have the next phase of a Win2k deployment that is waiting on this…any help is GREATLY appreciated!
