I have been on the phone with Symantec for the last 3 days trying to solve this problem. Here is what is going on.
I imaged a HP DC510SSF and I would like to deploy it to a HP500B. Easy right?
I created a boot IMG using the boot Wizard and Deploy anywhere installed the storage and NIC drivers deployed the image and got a blue screen. Symantec 1st told me it was the storage drivers. Ok. When through and replaced them. My symantec rep told me he was going to look into this and get back to me. 2days later rep got back to me and said that I couldn’t retore the HP 500SSF img to the HP 500B becasue it is a Dual Core machin and that the HAL’s are different..
So Now I have I am looking at True Image. Would this have been a better way to go.
Both the machines run XP Pro SP3.
