Hi ive got PC running XP Pro and and PC W2K3SVR and basically i created a domain and joined the Pro to it… though a few days on it would not connect to the domain, so i tried a lotta things inc taking it off domain and rejoining it but that did not work… i had some help from some IT dudes on another site but it was pretty much the same… i even reinstalled SVR03 but still Pro wont join the domain…
i keep getting this message saying:
[A domain controller for the domain sanity.com could not be contacted
The error was “DNS name does not exist” (error code 0x0000232B RCODE_NAME_ERROR)
The query was fort the SRV record for ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.contoso.com]
what could be the problem…
Note:
I had established a connection but after a few days it stopped connecting to te domain.
I have also reinstalled W2K03 SVR, but still not able to join
