HELP me…!! JAVA GUI SWING… and make TIMER…??

help this is our assignment…!!

we should make a GUI based program
so there’s a PASSWORD in random
using letter A till Z
,,, we make it already with 10 length for the words

then prepare the FIELD for entering the password
if the user WRONG in 3 times entered…
so THERE WOULD BE a COUNTDOWN

waiting only 1 minute… then the USER can enter again…
,,,, how to make this…?

i understand to make COUNTER if the counter become 3 so the TIMER works… but how to make it… ??? pLZZZ

help me out of this probs…!!
