Help! Recovering Outlook emails on shared server, no .pst on PC.

A good number of my emails got deleted in error about a week ago. I have outlook 2003 at work, and the exchange server is shared within the company. I have looked at a number of email recovery application downloads, but they all require access to the outlook .PST file. This is the problem, all the individual PCs at my work are .PST DISABLED. The reason all of the PCs have the .PST set-up disabled is to save disc/storage space across the company. When I open Outlook, and select “Data File Recovery” the window that opened was blank so I could not set up any file in order to recover deletions.
So none of the recovery downloads were able to retrieve any of my hard deleted email.
Also I don’t know if the mails are still on my PC or whether they have gone to a pooled server of the entire company.

I’d like to stress that my PC that the emails were deleted from DOES NO HAVE .PST CAPABILITIES – the option to save or add a .PST file simply does not exist. I have queried on other IT support websites and most of the suggestions involved the use of .PST, which of course was useless to me. I would also imagine that the shared exchange server would pose a problem also.

However someone told me that if I run a comprehensive FILE recovery program and just include all file types, that should retrieve all the deleted outlook items as well – is that true?
I would prefer not to ask an IT administrator because some of the emails are rather confidential and it?s quite necessary to recover them myself. I really hope someone out there can help, or suggest an alternative email recovery method…please please!??
