HELP recovery from Ghost

A new image of NTW was installed on a user hard drive via Ghost, unfortunately the previous user files backup was performed simply via windows copy and it was aborted at “M” (i.e: \My Docs…).

Any tips on how to recover the missing part even if files were overwritten or any tools to do it (as we are taking about a desktop PC, we are not willing to spend a lot of bucks, but the user is very demanding).
