Here’s a good ‘un! Installed Firefox3 and lost ALL my add-ons to FF2 …

I installed Firefox3 to another hard drive then found I couldn’t add any add-ons. The Firefox install routine runs to the end then reports ‘Failure To Install’ – Error 228. The error console is filled with bits of readable type and a lot of gibberish.

Firefox2 still has all its add-ons listed as being there – but none of them are evident onscreen. I can’t even uninstall any of them.

All the errors are pointing to a discrepancy with the Firefox XPI. So before I go rooting around in the registry has anyone got a quick solution?
