We are using NT4 Microsoft Back Office and Microsoft Proxy Server,on the client computer Win 95 is the operating system.CuteFTP Pro was installed on one of the client computers and has no problem connecting to any site,but setting it up on any othercomputer in the office(20)it cannot connect error cannot find host.I tried a different program WS_FTP same result works on first computer but no others in the office.I connected up a modem to one of the non working clients and the programs connectedto the sites ok,re connected through Lan and proxy server not working again.When tried to ping from any client destination host unreachable error recieved.DHCP is being used for ip addresses,winipcfg on client computers shows ip address ok.
Any ideas anyone
