Hello,
I am a rookie I.T. Tech for a start-up company. I am coming in on the coat tail’s of a few consultants.
I will get to brass tax quickly and explain later. I am weighing the option of hosting our exchange over on-site exchange with our SBS 2003 Server. I manage 25 user’s, all laptops, and we are looking at adding a second domain, as well as a second facility to our network. I am currently looking at Mi8/ASP-One, MailStreet (I know they are paired with Mi8/ASP-One but separate infrastructure), 123 Together, and Intermedia.
I will admit I am a beginner, however the office needs exchange for contacts/calendar sharing, while I get the Server figured out.
Now a little back ground, I have two servers here both with SBS03. However the exchange option was not installed on either b/c the previous I.T. didn’t know what it was. The other server was destroyed as well as a few nice HP-8730’s b/c someone didn’t believe in using ESD. Instead of using AD we have one user and everybody log’s in over that user through a work group. I mentioned “Domain Login” once and people freaked out b/c “we don’t know how to do that.” With in 20 minutes of saying that I setup my login through the domain login.
HELP!!!
