Host Headers and DNS

Hi,

I are trying to setup a couple intranet sites using IIS6 with just 1 IP address. I know this can be done using host headers but how do I add it to DNS to make it work? So far I have created http://intranet1.com and that works perfectly. I want to add http://intranet2, http://intranet3.com and so on… I’ve created the host header for each one but it’s not working and I know it’s because of DNS. What kind of record do I need to add in DNS to make this work?

We are running on windows 2003 server that is our PDC and it serves as our DNS too. I currently have a www. record that points to our primary website but I don’t know how to create one that will work with host headers. Can someone show me how? I know I can edit the host file and make this work but I would rather do it in DNS. Thanks!
