I cannot run PWS in Internet mode. It works fine across my Lantastic network
between my PCs. There are many people reporting that they do it and all
documentation that I found gave suggestions on how but none of them worked
for me.
I have a Linksys router connected to a cable modem. All support technicians
report that they can ping my modem but then they say there is nothing more
that they can do.
I used to have this running but sometime last week it stopped. I tried to
repeat all my settings according to many notes that I took but no luck.
I have set up Linksys as follows:
DMZ set to IP address as indicated by winipcfg
DHCP enabled
WAN Blocking disabled.
Network adapter card set to:
IP address as indicated by winipcfg (this is address set up by the router:
192.168.1.101
DNS set to two addresses found by winipcfg
Gateway set to router: 192.168.1.1
WINS disabled.
