Host-to-host visibility + website access

by shanghai sam . Updated 24 years, 7 months ago

Hi,
Some computers on my LAN can’t access some specific websites(yahoo.com, yahoo.fr). Moreover, computers in the network can not see each other eventhough they can PING each other successfully; Also, using the NET SEND command, computers can not communicate. I’ve tried so many tricks in vain, and I’ll appreciate your advices and suggestions.
Network configuration:
– Ethernet 10/100 BaseT using LinkSys 5-port workgroup switch and UTP cat5e patch cables.
– Server: triple-boot (win Me, WIn 2KPro, Win 2KAdServ), Multi-homed Pentium III @533MHz, 192 Megs of Ram, Uses ICS to share Verizon DSL connection with 2 Win Me Hosts.
All hosts use 128-bit encryption
Active Directory NOT installed
Browser’s security level checked on all hosts
WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM???
