Hosting Application on Intranet

hello Everyone,

i need to setup my web application with fully qualified domain name over intranet

eg: people can access my application on this url http://server:8080/test

but i want to change it to http://www.test.com is it possible?? is there any DNS setting required to resolve my hostname to FQDN

Note: Application only access on intranet (locally).
