How to get started an IT carrer.

Hi im 26 years old and i want to start my carrer on IT.
I dont know how to get started. It need to be something like
computer engeneering or an A+ certificate Or anything else ?
I need a good start but dont know how to.

Any answer on this would be realy great for me, im just desperate
On starting a carrer, things are not easy at the moment on this life.
