How to post a Long complicated question.?

I’ve tried a number of times to post a very complicated question to the Software Tech board, but I continue to be timed out by this site after a couple of minutes of thinking & writing. I can still navigate back and forth to other pages in the site, but my hard work gets zapped when it times out.

SOOOOOO, I created a Notepad text file and then copied it to my desktop and tried to drag and drop it into the Body area. Does not work.

Anyone know how to IMPORT information into the body of a question in the tech section.
