How to reply to an immature post: The Unofficial Discussion.

Nodice (author of this post and of several other stories that all fail to meet my own standards) would like to begin a general discussion on the proper response to an immature post.

For the purposes of this discussion, an immature post would include flames as well as anything else that is disruptive to a given discussion.
