How to retrieve folder in backup folder

I inadvertently dropped a folder with a subfolder into a backup folder (9e769b1c29fa287e659d8f1a7ec066; I am assuming this is a MS backup folder as I also use McAfee that seem to have a different name: 040409_08-55-19F) and cannot retrieve the dropped folders. Any suggestions for retrieving the folders would be greatly appreciated.
