How to use my ghosted hard drive

by aurarius . Updated 17 years, 8 months ago

I have recently ghosted my hard drive using driveimage xml, but when i take out the old hard drive and plug in the new one it won’t boot up, i don’t know if its because the drive letter on the new one has been assigned to D:, but there is no option to use drive D: in the bios as a boot drive, i’m running windows xp and would really apreciate some advice or thoughts on it.
