In the US, it is time for the dreaded mid-term election. Turnout is always horrible, but because of everything going on, maybe turnout will be better this time. The less people that show up, the more MY vote counts for.

It would be nice if this didn’t turn into a political rant supporting or bashing one “side” or the other. Just looking at if you feel it is important to vote.
There are always a lot of local issues that are dealt with, in the form of amendments and millages. These do affect you directly.
I WAS surprised this time around, how many local judges and such that ran un-opposed.
