I purchased the above referenced machine in July of this year. Suddenly, this past weekend, I was working on a rather large MS Word document (2003) and the document randomly, fast and furious to the end of the document and would not let me go back up. I tried to scroll up, to page up, to press HOME; I unplugged my portable mouse. It would not stop doing this! I had to reboot. I use a portable IBM mouse and I have the touchpad on.
Specific questions:
1. Any word from IBM/Lenovo on this problem?
2. Any good temporary fixes, if no to the above question.
3. Has anyone installed Office 2007 and found this problem went away?
4. Where is the source of this problem? Is it the touchpad, a wacky macro or key stroke combination that gets set off? Is there some explanation on it at all?
Imagine a graduate student typing away, who wants an A, and this occurs! Plus, I just happen to love the Itty Bitty Machine! Yikes!
Any suggestions?
