IMOtoCW Conversion:What happens to PST

We have used Outlook IMO for years & accumulated large PST files. I’m now changing to hosting our own mail on Exch 2000. What happens to the contents of the PST files (inbox, sent items, contacts, etc.)? Is there a way to import this info into the Exch server?
